The 2000 Dodge Neon: Emissions test
Your 2000 Dodge Neon needs an emissions test? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Before the shop sees your Neon
If you have the service history of your Neon, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Neon. The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual.
Our part and the shop's part
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A car meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Small things that help
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Before the shop starts
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Ready when you are
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
