Arranging the work for the Ram
Searching for emissions test for the 2006 Dodge Ram? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your Ram and the shop
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Ram. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What CarmaCars does here
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Your rental while you wait
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Between shop visits
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Before the shop starts
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Over to you
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
