Emissions test: how we help
For an emissions test on the Ford C800, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your C800 and the shop
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What to send us
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Between shop visits
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
What to ask
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Ready when you are
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
