The 2011 Ford Edge: Emissions test
Need an emissions test for your 2011 Ford Edge? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your Edge
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 3.5L 6-cylinder. If you have the service history of your Edge, have it ready for the shop. It is powered by the 3.5L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive.
How the request works
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A car while yours is in the shop
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
What to ask
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Good habits for your car
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Make a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
