Emissions test for the 1985 GMC CWG
For an emissions test on the 1985 GMC CWG, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What CarmaCars does here
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Good habits for your car
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
What to ask
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Next step
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
