Emissions test for the GMC Geo Tracker: CarmaCars does not do this work itself. Request it and we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one, and we can deliver a rental car to you while yours is in.
A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Arranging the work for the Geo Tracker
For an emissions test on the GMC Geo Tracker, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your Geo Tracker
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
Our part and the shop's part
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Still deciding?
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
