Arranging the work for the S15 Utility
Your 1982 GMC S15 Utility needs an emissions test? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Your S15 Utility and the shop
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the S15 Utility. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
Our part and the shop's part
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
Your rental while you wait
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Small things that help
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Getting a clear quote
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
