A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Emissions test: how we help
For an emissions test on your GMC S6, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
Who does what
You approve the shop's quote before any work. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A car while yours is in the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
Car care, briefly
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Ready when you are
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
