Your Jaguar XJS needs an emissions test? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your XJS
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the XJS. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
The steps
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Before the shop starts
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Between shop visits
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
