Arranging the work for the Seltos

For an emissions test on the 2021 Kia Seltos EX, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

About your Seltos

The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive.

What to send us

We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Your rental while you wait

Add a rental to the same request as the repair. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Car care, briefly

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Talk to a person

Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
