The 2021 Kia Seltos LX: Emissions test

For an emissions test on the 2021 Kia Seltos LX, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Before the shop sees your Seltos

Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.0L 4-cylinder. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive.

What to send us

We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. You approve the shop's quote before any work. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.

Keep moving meanwhile

We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Car care, briefly

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Getting a clear quote

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Ready when you are

One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
