The 2026 Lexus LX: Emissions test
For an emissions test on the 2026 Lexus LX, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Before the shop sees your LX
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 3.4L 6-cylinder turbo hybrid. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The 3.4L 6-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.
How we help
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Your rental while you wait
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Questions to ask the shop
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Small things that help
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Your move
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
