The 2020 Lexus RC: Emissions test
The 2020 Lexus RC and an emissions test: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your RC
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo. If you have the service history of your RC, have it ready for the shop. It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with rear-wheel drive.
What to send us
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Car care, briefly
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Before the shop starts
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Want a price?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
