Arranging the work for the CX-5

Before the shop sees your CX-5
If you have the service history of your CX-5, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
A short checklist
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
