The 2012 Mazda RX-8: Emissions test
For an emissions test on your 2012 Mazda RX-8, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your RX-8
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the RX-8.
What to send us
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Keep moving meanwhile
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Small things that help
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Talk to a person
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
