Emissions test for the Porsche Targa
Your Porsche Targa needs an emissions test? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Details the shop needs
If you have the service history of your Targa, have it ready for the shop. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
What we arrange
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
A car meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Before the shop starts
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Car care, briefly
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Talk to a person
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
