The 2016 Ram 1500: Emissions test
Your 2016 Ram 1500 needs an emissions test? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your 1500
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive.
How the arrangement works
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A rental while you wait
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. We collect the rental when your car is back. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Getting a clear quote
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
Between shop visits
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Ask us
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
