Emissions test: how we help
For an emissions test on your Saturn Ion, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
From request to repair
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Before the shop starts
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Good habits for your car
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Ask us
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
