The 1995 Saturn SC2: Emissions test
For an emissions test on the 1995 Saturn SC2, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
About your SC2
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the SC2. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How the arrangement works
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Your move
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
