The 2000 Saturn SL2: Emissions test
For an emissions test on your 2000 Saturn SL2, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your SL2 and the shop
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. If you have the service history of your SL2, have it ready for the shop.
What CarmaCars does here
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Small things that help
Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
Send a request
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
