Emissions test: how we help
For an emissions test on the 2000 Saturn SW1, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your SW1 and the shop
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
Our part and the shop's part
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Your rental while you wait
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Small things that help
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Get an offer
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
