Emissions test for the 2012 Scion tC
Emissions test for the 2012 Scion tC: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Before the shop sees your tC
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the tC. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Its 2.5L 4-cylinder drives through a 6-speed automatic.
Our part and the shop's part
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Keep moving meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Small things that help
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Send a request
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
