The 2012 Scion xB: Emissions test
Emissions test for your 2012 Scion xB: arranged with a trusted shop, never done by CarmaCars, with a rental if you need one. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your xB and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.4L 4-cylinder. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Its powertrain is the 2.4L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive.
Who does what
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
A rental while you wait
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Car care, briefly
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Ask us
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
