Emissions test for the smart
Need an emissions test for the smart? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
Our part and the shop's part
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
A car meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
A short checklist
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Between shop visits
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Talk to a person
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
