The 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE: Emissions test

Emissions test for your 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE: arranged with a trusted shop, never done by CarmaCars, with a rental if you need one. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Before the shop sees your Corolla

A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. If you have the service history of your Corolla, have it ready for the shop. The 1.8L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT).

How the arrangement works

Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.

No car? Rent one meanwhile

If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We collect the rental when your car is back. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

What to ask

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Good habits for your car

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Your move

Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
