Emissions test: how we help
Your Volvo S40 needs an emissions test? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Before the shop sees your S40
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How we help
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Stay on the road
We collect the rental when your car is back. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Getting a clear quote
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Good habits for your car
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Ask us
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
We have no car while yours is in on the site right now. Request one and we look for it for your dates, or take a similar car that is available now.
