A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Emissions test for the Volvo VN
For an emissions test on the Volvo VN, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
What to send us
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A rental while you wait
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Between shop visits
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Getting a clear quote
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Ready to ask?
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
