Emissions test: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an emissions test on the 2020 Volvo VS, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. If you have the service history of your VS, have it ready for the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the VS.
What to send us
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
Keep moving meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Car care, briefly
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Ask us
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
