Booking the work for the X1/9
CarmaCars takes requests for an engine bay clean on the Bertone X1/9, and rents you a car while yours is in. An engine bay clean is done with care around the electrical parts. A full detail covers the interior and the exterior together.
What your car means for the work
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
What to send us
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
Stay on the road
Add a rental to the same request as the work. Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
How long it takes
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
After the work
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
Pricing, plainly
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
