Booking the work for the MV-1
This page covers an engine bay clean for the VPG MV-1, and a rental while the car is with us. An engine bay clean is done with care around the electrical parts. A full detail covers the interior and the exterior together.
About your MV-1
As a van, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Booking the work
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Stay on the road
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Add a rental to the same request as the work. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Planning around the work
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
On the day
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
Pricing, plainly
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
Aftercare
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
