The ASC Incorporated: Engine repair
Need engine work for your ASC Incorporated? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Details the shop needs
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
What we arrange
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
Your rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Good habits for your car
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
When you know your dates
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
