Arranging the work for the A3
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For engine work on the 2018 Audi A3, we connect you with a trusted shop. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your A3 and the shop
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The 1.4L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 6-speed automatic.
From request to repair
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Stay on the road
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Getting a clear quote
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Car care, briefly
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Ask us
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
