The 2022 Audi A4 Progressiv: Engine repair

For engine work on the 2022 Audi A4 Progressiv, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Your A4 and the shop

Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the A4. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic.

Our part and the shop's part

We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.

A rental while you wait

We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Before the shop starts

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Good habits for your car

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Talk to a person

Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
