Engine repair: how we help

For engine work on the 2022 Audi A4 Progressiv, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Details the shop needs

Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the A4. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic.

How the request works

The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.

A car while yours is in the shop

Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Getting a clear quote

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Make a request

Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.

Other trims, places, colours and searches

Request engine repair

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
