Engine repair: how we help
Engine repair for the 2017 Audi A8: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
About your A8
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. If you have the service history of your A8, have it ready for the shop. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The 3.0L 6-cylinder supercharged, paired with an 8-speed automatic, drives it.
Who does what
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
Your rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Before the shop starts
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Ask us
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
