Arranging the work for the S8
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for engine work on the 2017 Audi S8 we arrange a trusted shop. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Before the shop sees your S8
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the S8. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Power: the 4.0L 8-cylinder turbo; drive: all-wheel drive.
How we help
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
A short checklist
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Want a price?
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
