Engine repair for the Bertone
Your Bertone needs engine work? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
From request to repair
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Keep moving meanwhile
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Good habits for your car
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Ready when you are
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
