Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
What to ask
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Car care, briefly
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
