Representative photoEngine repair for a BMW iX5
Engine repair for the BMW iX5: CarmaCars does not do this work itself. Request it and we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one, and we can deliver a rental car to you while yours is in.
A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Arranging the work for the iX5
Engine repair for the BMW iX5: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Details the shop needs
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What we arrange
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Your rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Before the shop starts
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Good habits for your car
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Questions first?
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
