The Chevrolet Impala: Engine repair
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For engine work on the Chevrolet Impala, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
About your Impala
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. If you have the service history of your Impala, have it ready for the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
From request to repair
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. You approve the shop's quote before any work. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Car care, briefly
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Before the shop starts
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Send a request
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
