Engine repair: how we help
The Dodge D50 and engine work: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Before the shop sees your D50
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
What CarmaCars does here
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
A car meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Getting a clear quote
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
When you know your dates
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
