The Dodge Stratus: Engine repair
Your Dodge Stratus needs engine work? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your Stratus and the shop
If you have the service history of your Stratus, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What we arrange
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
A car while yours is in the shop
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Small things that help
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
A short checklist
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Talk to a person
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
