Arranging the work for the 296
Searching for engine repair for the Ferrari 296? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
What we arrange
You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
What to ask
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Between shop visits
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Get an offer
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
