The Fisker Karma: Engine repair
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for engine work on the Fisker Karma we arrange a trusted shop. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your Karma and the shop
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How the request works
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Getting a clear quote
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Small things that help
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Questions first?
