CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Engine repair for the Ford B6000
Engine repair for the Ford B6000: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
The steps
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
Stay on the road
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Good habits for your car
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
One more step
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
