Engine repair: how we help
For engine work on the GMC Geo Tracker, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your car, your notes
If you have the service history of your Geo Tracker, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
What to send us
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Keep moving meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Between shop visits
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Talking to the shop
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Send a request
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
