The GMC R Conventional: Engine repair
The GMC R Conventional and engine work: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
What to send us
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Small things that help
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Still deciding?
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
