The 1985 GMC WCA: Engine repair
Engine repair for your 1985 GMC WCA: arranged with a trusted shop, never done by CarmaCars, with a rental if you need one. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
What to send us
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
Stay on the road
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Car care, briefly
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
What to ask
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Make a request
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
