Engine repair: how we help
Need engine work for the 1987 GMC WCA? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Before the shop sees your WCA
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
Who does what
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
Stay on the road
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Good habits for your car
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
What to ask
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Over to you
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
