Engine repair: how we help
Need engine work for your 1985 GMC WCL? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How we help
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A car meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Car care, briefly
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Your move
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
